The principal contents are extracts from the diary of John Kelsall, in the hand of Henry J. Black (name inside front cover). The years covered are 1723-1734. At the end of the volume is a transcript of a broadside published by Kelsall in 1726, entitled "The Faithful Monitor", and then incomplete notes on Kelsall and his family, and on the Lloyds of Dolobran, Quakers who employed Kelsall.
